A Thank You, From our Hearts
As we step into our final week of the year, we wanted to pause for a moment and say thank you. To our incredible clients: thank you for your support, your patience, your understanding, and your good humour. Thank you for laughing with us when things go sideways, for being kind when stock runs out, and for sticking with us through the busy days, the chaotic days, and the “just one more message” days. Many of you aren’t just customers anymore, you’re familiar names, voices, and conversations that pop up on WhatsApp and brighten our days. To our wonderful suppliers: thank you for always showing up with produce, solutions, and sometimes a healthy dose of nonsense to keep us sane. Thank you for answering calls, juggling last-minute requests, and for being part of the journey, not just the supply chain. It’s been a privilege getting to know you beyond the invoices. It’s hard to believe that just over a year ago, this was an idea, a leap of faith, and a whole lot of learning on the go. Since then, we’ve met so many of you in person, shared stories, shared laughs, and built something that feels far bigger than a shop. It feels like a community. And finally, a very special thank you from me to Elaine. What started as “just helping out” quickly became so much more. She’s jumped in with both feet, taken on more than anyone could reasonably expect, and become not only my right-hand person, but my business partner, sounding board, support system, and occasional voice of reason. We laugh a lot, we problem-solve constantly, and somehow make it work. I couldn’t do this without her. From both of us, thank you for being part of our story. Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and your continued support. We don’t take any of it for granted. Here’s to a well-earned break, a little rest, and a new year ahead, hopefully with fewer stock shortages, fewer “oops” moments, and just as much laughter. With gratitude and love, Our Family 💚
From Our Family to Yours
The past few months have reminded me just how precious health truly is. A sudden health scare in our household served as a wake-up call — not just for the one affected, but for all of us. It was a reminder that even small lifestyle changes can make a big difference, especially when it comes to the food we choose, how we prepare it, and how intentionally we take care of ourselves and our families. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been eye-opening. We’ve been adjusting our meals, experimenting with heart-healthy options, and paying more attention to ingredients — not just what’s in our food, but where it comes from and how it supports our bodies. And I’ll be honest: it’s taken effort. But it's also brought a renewed sense of purpose to what we do at Cyrus Farm. Which brings me to some lovely news — my daughter, Elaine, has moved back home and joined the heart of the shop (pun intended!). Many of you will get to meet her in person or hear her friendly voice behind the scenes. She's vibrant, compassionate, and cares deeply about people. She’s here to help, support, and bring her own energy into the work we do. You’re in good hands when she’s around. Thank you, as always, for being part of our growing community — one that values health, kindness, and good food made with care.
