What to add to your trolley:

  • 500g Ostrich Mince 
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 Green Pepper, finely chopped 
  • 1 cup fresh Tomatoes, chopped 
  • ½ bottle Italian Passata (±450ml) 
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced 
  • 1 tsp fresh Ginger, grated 
  • Olive Oil (for cooking) 
  • Salt & Pepper to taste 
  • To serve:
  • 4 Sourdough bread slices 
  • 4 Eggs, poached 
  • 1 cup fresh Rocket 
  • A handful of fresh Basil, chopped 
  • 2 tbsp Ultimate Seed mix (pumpkin, flax, sesame, sunflower)

How to prepare the deliciousness:

1. Sauté Aromatics:

Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté onion, garlic, ginger & green pepper until soft.

2. Add Mince:

Add ostrich mince. Cook until browned.

3. Add the rest:

Add tomatoes and Passata. Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes. Season to taste.

4. Prepare Eggs and Sourdough Bread:

Poach eggs to soft or medium, while toasting the sourdough bread.

5. Assemble:

Sourdough + Rocket + Mince + poached Egg + Basil + Seed sprinkle.
