What to add to your trolley:

  • 250g Chouriço, sliced
  • 1 cup uncooked Rice (white or brown)
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Tomato, chopped 
  • 1½ cups Chicken broth
  • ½ cup frozen Peas
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley or Lemon to finish


How to prepare the deliciousness:

1. Sauté the Chouriço:

In a large pan, sauté Chouriço over medium heat until slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the rice:

In the same pan, cook onion and garlic until soft. Stir in rice, tomato, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Add Broth and Simmer:

Pour in broth, bring to a boil, then reduce to low. Cover and simmer 15–18 min until rice is tender.

4. Put it all together:

Stir in peas and return Chouriço to the pan. Heat through for 5 minutes.

5. Serve:

Serve with parsley and lemon wedges.
