What to add to your trolley:

+/- 12 Skewers

  • 1 cup Mozzarella cubes
  • 1 – 1½ cups Sweet melon or Spanspek cubes 
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, whole or halved
  • A handful of fresh Basil leaves
  • 2 – 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 – 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt & freshly ground Black Pepper
  • Small wooden skewers/Toothpicks

How to Prepare the Deliciousness:

1. Prep the Ingredients:

Cut mozzarella and melon into similar-sized bite cubes. Rinse cherry tomatoes and basil leaves and pat dry.

2.  Assemble the Skewers:

On each skewer, thread:
tomato → basil leaf → mozzarella → melon

Repeat the pattern if your skewers are longer, or keep to   3 – 4 pieces per toothpick for bite-sized snacks.

3. Season & Drizzle:

Lay the skewers on a platter. Drizzle with Olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle lightly with salt and black pepper just before serving.

4. Serve Cold:

Chill for 20 – 30 minutes if possible, then serve as a bright, refreshing starter.
