What to add to your trolley:

  • Sourdough baguettes, sliced
  • Mozzarella slices
  • Assorted cold cuts (ham, pastrami, or silverside)
  • Cabanossi, sliced
  • Black olives
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Cucumber ribbons or slices
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil and cracked black pepper for finishing

Cottage Cheese Whip

  • 1 cup Cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 small clove Garlic, finely grated
  • Pinch of salt and Black pepper
  • Fresh Herbs (parsley or basil), chopped


1.  Make the Whip:

In a small blender or food processor, combine all ingredients. Blend until light and creamy (30 - 40 seconds). Adjust seasoning and drizzle with a little olive oil before serving.

2. Serving idea:

Arrange all ingredients beautifully on a wooden board -  the cottage cheese whip in a small bowl, surrounded by folded cold cuts, mozzarella slices, baguette rounds, black olives, and pops of colour from the fresh veg and basil. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and cracked pepper.
